هل تضمن عزيزى القارئ انك ستعيش حتى تنتهى من قراءة هذه الجملة؟ الإجابة الصادقة هى: طبعا لا.
الموت قد يأتى فى أية لحظة من لحظات العمر ,ويستوى فى هذا الصغير والكبير.
وهنا دعنى أسألك: ربما تكون فى حافظتك شهادة تأمين ضد حوادث السيارات ولكن ماذا عن شهادة تأمين ضد الخلود فى جهنم ؟.
ألا يستحق هذا الأمر أن تعطيه بعض الإهتمام ؟
انك تدرس بالتدقيق تفاصيل أسبوع سوف تقضيه فى المصيف,ولكن ماذا عن الخلود الى أبد الآبدين ؟
ربما تقول هذه من الغيبيات التى جعلها الله فى سلطانه ولم يطلع عليها بنى البشر حتى يجتهد الناس ويكثروا من الأعمال الحسنة,ولكن أى اله هذا الذى يترك سيف الخوف من جهنم مسلطا على رقاب عبيده طيلة عمرهم, هذا لا يتفق أبدا مع صلاح الله ورحمته وإحسانه.
أو ربما تقول أننى إنسان تقى أحفظ الفرائض وأحيد عن الشر وأعمل أعمالا حسنة ولهذا فأنا واثق من أننى سوف أكون من سكان الجنة.
ألعلك أكثر تقوى وأعمالا حسنة من أبى بكر الصديق الذى قال:
"لو أن احدى قدمى أبى بكر فى الجنة والأخرى خارجها لا أأمن مكر الله؟
وأقول لك أيضا, إن ما نظنه أنا وأنت تقوى يشوبه الكثير من القصور.
ماذا عن الأنانية والكبرياء والغيرة والشهوة التى تملأ قلوبنا ؟ هل هذا أيضا من التقوى؟!.
وماذا عن الأتقياء فى كل ديانات العالم,هل سيذهبون جميعا الى الجنة؟
هل تؤدى كل الأديان الى الجنة كما تؤدى كل الطرق الى روما؟
إن كل أتباع ديانات العالم لهم كتاب يبجلونه ويعتبرونه المرجع الأول الذى لا يأتبه الباطل من بين يديه ولا من خلفه,ولهم أيضا مؤسس يعتبرونه النموزج الأعظم يتبعونه ويتمثلون بحياته.
هل كل هؤلاء على حق ؟
يعتقد البعض أن كل ديانات العالم تتفق على الأساسيات وتختلف على الفرعيات بدعوى أن كلها تحث على الفضيلة والإخاء, والواقع هو أن العكس هو الصحيح,لأنها تتفق فى الفرعيات وتختلف على الأساسيات.
أن ديانات العالم تختلف جذريا فى أصل الخليقة وغرض وجود الإنسان على الأرض ,ومصيره الأبدى,وغيرها من أساسيات الحياة والوجود.
ينطبق هذا على الهندوسية والبوذية واليهودية والمسيحية والإسلام والمورمون والبهائية.
من المبادئ الأساسية فى علم المنطق قاعدة عدم التناقض التى تقول بأن للسؤال الواحد لا يمكن أن تكون هناك إجابتين متناقضتين وتكون
كلتاهما صحيحتان.
إذا سألتك هل زوجتك حامل؟ وكان ردك هو" نعم"وكان ردها هى"لا"
فإن أحدكما على صواب والآخر على خطأ,لا يمكن أن تكون الإجابتان صحيحتان, هذا هو الحال فى الأديان المتناقضة.
ولهذا فإننا نقول أنه من المنطقى جدا أن لا تكون كل أديان العالم على صواب .قد تكون كلها على خطأ ,او أن تكون كلها على خطأ ماعدا دين واحد.
هنا ينبرى كل متدين ويقول إن دينه هو الدين الواحد الصحيح .
ما هو الحل اذن ؟
الحل هو أن يتجرد كل منا من تحيزه وتعصبه ويفتح عقله وقلبه ويدرس بموضوعية وحيادية وإخلاص كتابات أهل الأديان الأخرى عنها- وليس ما يكتيه أتباع دينه هو فى نقدها – لعله فى النهاية يهتدى
الى الطريق الصحيح الوحيد الذى يؤدى الى الأبدية السعيدة.
ربما تقول ليس عندى وقت لمثل هذه الدراسة ,
أقول لك أنت مدين لنفسك ولأحبائك بأن تبذل كل وقت وجهد لكي تتيقن من مصيرك ومصيرهم الأبدى.
نحن لا نتحدث هنا عن أسبوع فى مصيف يمكن تغييره فى الأعوام التالية ولكننا نتحدث عن الخلود فى جهنم أم فى النعيم.
والسؤال هو :ما هو الطريق الوحيد المؤدى الى النعيم الأبدى؟
لقد قام الكثيرون بالدراسة التى ندعوك اليها فى محاولة مخلصة
للوصول للإجابة على هذا السؤال المصيرى.
وفى نهاية المطاف لم يكن أمامهم غير التسليم والإعتراف بأن الإجابة لا تكمن فى مجموعة من الفرائض والواجبات والطقوس والأعمال والأصوام والشعائر, ولكنها تكمن فى شخص قال عن نفسه :
"أنا هوالطريق والحق والحياة".
وقال أيضا "أنا هو القيامة والحياة, من آمن بى ولو مات فسيحيا".
اننى أدعوك مخلصا أن تدرس حياة وأعمال وأقوال المسيح هذا الشخص الفريد ,فلعله يكون حقا هو الطريق الوحيد المؤدى الى الحياة الأبدية .
Where Are You Going To Spend Eternity ?
Dear Friend ,
Do you have any guarantee that you will remain alive until you finish
reading this sentence ?
The honest answer to the question is “ No” .
That applies to all ; elderly and young . Death could come at any moment.
Let my ask you few simple questions .
Most probably you have a car insurance policy , but do you have one against spending eternity in hell ?
Doesn’t this issue deserve some of your attention ?
You devote enough time to learn about the details of a one week vacation in the Caribbean . How about eternity ?
You might say that the final destination is part of the “unknown” and
God has intentionally kept it that way to force us to be diligent .
What kind of god that would be if he leaves us in uncertainty and fear
regarding our eternity ?
That certainly wouldn’t be a god of goodness and love.
You might say : “ I am a good man . I follow God’s commandments and
I do many good deeds. This should guarantee me a place in paradise “.
Well, that doesn’t seem to be enough according to the first caliphate
Abu Bakr Al- Siddik who said “
“ if Abu Bakr sets one foot in paradise while the other is still out , I wouldn’t guarantee the cunning ( makr) of Allah” .
Besides, what you and I might consider “ goodness” , definitely falls short of the mark. How about selfishness , pride , envy and lust ?
Are these part of our “goodness” ?
Also, what about “good people” of other religions ? Are they all going to paradise ?
Do all religions lead to paradise as the old saying “ All roads lead to Rome” ?
Each follower of a major religion has a holy book that he considers infallible and the ultimate point of reference . He also has a supreme example that he follows.
Are they all right ?
Some people think that all religions are fundamentally similar and superficially different . “ Don’t they all say “ be kind , and be nice” .
I beg to differ .
Actually , the opposite is true . Religions are fundamentally different and superficially similar .
They differ on the origin of man, the purpose of his existence and his final destination , just to name a few.
One of the major laws of logic, is the law of non-contradiction which states that “ For the same question, there can’t be two contradictory answers and both be true” .
If I ask you : “Is your wife pregnant ? “ and your answer is “yes” while her answer is “no” , I will have to conclude that only one of you is right.
Both of you can’t be right .
On that basis , all religions of the world can’t be right. They could all be wrong , or they could all be wrong except one .
At this point, everyone is going to claim that his religion is the right one.
So, what do we do ?
The solution is that each one of us takes off his bias toward his own religion and OBJECTIVELY study the other religions with open mind and heart.
One needs to read the writings of the other religions and not what the adherents of his own religion wrote in critic of other religions .
After careful and fair assessment of all religions , one can reach an objective conclusion based on which he can choose which path to follow.
You might say : “ I don’t have enough time for such an extensive research and study” .
My response to you is this : The stakes are extremely high . We are not talking here about a week in the Caribbean but rather about eternity.
You owe it to yourself, and certainly to your loved ones to do your utmost best to ensure that you all are going to the right place. I hate to say it, but I have to . Only unwise people are going to spend eternity regretting heeding this advice .
Let me conclude by sharing my personal conviction after concluding
the research and study that I have referred to earlier.
It was Jesus Christ who once said “ I am the way, the truth and the life”.
He also said “ I am the resurrection and the life , whoever believes in me , though he dies, yet he shall live”.
I believe him , and in him I have entrusted my eternity.
